Our story

Tom Chandler started his career in arboriculture at Bicton Agricultural College, Devon in 2003.

After completing a National Certificate in Arboriculture he went on the further study at Merrist Wood College near Guildford, completing the National Diploma in Arboriculture.

Returning home to Cornwall he found employment with Western Tree Surgeons in 2005. His role within Western Tree Surgeons was team Leader/climber.

During his thirteen year employment, he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience for all aspects of tree climbing, excelling in large tree removals and rigging.

Tom became self-employed at the start of 2018 launching his own company Atlantic Arborists.

His objective is to deliver a high-quality service to the domestic and commercial sector.

Subcontract climbing for a number of local Arborist teams is proving to be popular, bringing expert rigging skills to an existing operation.

Tom lives in Trevarth, Lanner with his partner and two young children.
